Is it better or worse with a certain movement or position?
Body Mechanics specialize in Precision Neuro-Muscular Therapy (PNMT) which uses clinical reasoning based on observable evidence to assess and treat mechanical pain.
Mechanical pain is affected by position or movement and is often related to soft tissue dysfunction. If you suffer from mechanical pain, give us a chance to help you GET OUT OF PAIN without the use of medication or surgery.
PNMT Clinical Therapy is not like normal relaxation massage. It is the practice of clinical measurement and testing skills to determine the cause and location of soft tissue dysfunction. The treatment is a slow, methodical, and very GENTLE targeted use of palpation techniques to affect muscles and connective tissue. It is a very focused treatment with the goal of finding and relieving the cause of pain, most often being trigger points or nerve entrapments.
Have you ever had a massage with a certain goal in mind and then left the treatment feeling unsatisfied and still in discomfort? If so, this focused clinical massage may be what you need for relief. Don't let chronic pain and discomfort hamper your lifestyle. If you, or someone you know, suffer with pain that changes with movement or position, send them to Body Mechanics. "We're here to help!"
Pain relief is our focus, but we also deliver several other services including Sports Massage and Deep Tissue Massage for active clients, Kinesio Taping to accelerate healing and return the body to pain free posture, and Body Wraps for detoxification and remineralization. Trigger Points for Pain Relief
Body Mechanics use PNMT to find and target trigger points. Relief is usually spontaneous with the first treatment and persistent. Nerve Entrapments are also common causes of chronic pain that are not addressed in this video. Chronic pain can take longer to assess and relieve. For instant pain relief, the Whelton Method is preferred.
